Mariachiara Zucchetto

Her strength and determination have been the driving force behind the restaurant for over forty years. Mariachiara represents the fourth generation of the Santo Spirito, daughter of Margherita and Augusto, wife of Alessandro, and mother of Jacopo.

Born in 1965, Mariachiara inherited her mother’s passion for work and her deep sense of responsibility towards the family. She began moving among the tables as a very young child, still in preschool – partly as a game and partly because, in those days, even children were expected to contribute with effort and sacrifice. From a young age, she worked in the restaurant’s dining room, welcoming guests with professionalism and warmth.

Her directness, tireless work ethic, and exceptional memory helped her build trust and respect among everyone who crossed the threshold of our home, as well as with the people of our valley. Today, Mariachiara primarily focuses on running the hotel, where she offers her guests a warm and comfortable hospitality. However, she still makes occasional visits to the restaurant’s dining room to greet long-time patrons and enjoy the many positive reviews from our guests.

Even in her free time, Mariachiara never stops. She lovingly tends to her gardens and orchards, growing fresh and flavourful produce. She also enjoys venturing into the woods to gather wild herbs and flowers, which she uses to create herbal teas and infused oils with exceptional therapeutic properties.

Mariachiara is a woman with a big heart, always ready to help others and give her time and energy without ever asking for anything in return. Giving, not receiving, is what she was born to do. Mariachiara is, and will always be, a fundamental part of our history.
