Chiarina Faraldi e Antonio Zucchetto

Antonio Zucchetto, the eldest son of Angelo and Rosetta, was a man of strong character. One defining trait? His unwavering dedication to work. He married Chiarina Faraldi, a woman of great elegance and sophistication, with whom he continued his parents’ hard work.

Chiarina preferred the dining room to the kitchen; she loved interacting with customers, managing the cash register, and handling the business’s finances. Antonio, true to his character and his mother’s legacy, devoted himself to the kitchen, preparing delicious dishes such as rabbit, trout, and his inimitable snails. But his efforts didn’t stop there – he also tended the farmland, growing fruits and vegetables and producing a genuine Ormeasco, the local red wine.

This life of sacrifice and dedication earned Antonio the "Fedeltà al lavoro e Progresso economico" award, culminating in a gold medal that is still cherished today as a precious family heirloom.

From their union were born three children, each of whom followed a different path. Gabriela fell in love with Francesco and moved to Genoa with him. Angelamaria opened her own shop, which over the years became a cornerstone of Molini di Triora. Meanwhile, Augusto continued his parents’ work, dividing his time between the beloved Tenuta di Meregone and the restaurant.

Antonio and Chiarina were a couple who combined hard work with administrative skill. They inherited the business from Rosetta, adapting it to the changing times before passing it on to their children. Their story is a testament to how love for one’s craft and dedication can create a lasting legacy. Their light continues to shine in the heart of the business, guiding future generations.
